Breaking!: A TV Ad for the March issue of Newtype magazine has revealed that the return of Suzumiya Haruhi will be in April! Update: 05/02 – It’s going to be a reru of the first season *cries*
There are many followers happy of this news!
More will be revealed when its out on the streets of Japan on February 10th, like Staff details and Story outline.
But COME ON….. YEEEEEEEES!! WOOHOO!! FINALLY SOME SORT OF ASSURANCE!

I cried I saw that too, that it was actually a re-run scheduled not a new anime, but hopes for them to maybe run the new series(if it exists) after the reruns, since apparently Aya Hirano has been MIA from her blog and apologizes for not updating it, what could she be doing?
It’s a rerun for the anime , and it’s true , plus they are adding 14 episode for the 1st season . *spoiler* it’s abt kyon waking up in a different timeline , where all the main characters dun have memory of each other and theres no alin no esper bla bla bla.. yuki is a normal girl , kyon is his usual boring type , haruhi and itsuki is in a different school … this is where the story starts ^^

Okay, they been making us wait for 3 years now and there putting re runs?..I was really hoping for something new!! D: And how come I heard in some countries it’s already re-leased?..! I’m totally lost can someone help me out here? </3
BTW If it does come out when are they gonna put english subtitles on them? D; Sorry for all the newbish questions. > 3<;
I don’t know for sure if this is what your taking about but you can see all 14 episodes of melancholy and the first episode of the disappearance at animefreak.tv I only wish they could hurry up on getting the full second season out (confident as Senseito that there will be one) faster. and of course the subs will take extra time… *bawling in a corner hidden by a fortress of manga*
