As the weekend wraps up, a lot of anime-related stuff has came about, and Animeted hasn’t posted it yet. So why not get on it now? Let’s start with Summer 2008:

With nearly all of the summer animes that Animeted are covering debuting, there are 5 animes left that you can start from the beginning. Those are Blade of the Immortal (debuted today),  Akiba-chan (24th July), Lupin the 3rd sweet lost night.. (25th July),  Eve no Jikan (1st August), and Kiku-Chan to Ookami (August). All of which are easy animes to watch containing little episodes. So in case you have some time, space, a CD/DVD Disc, and an Xbox (well it plays both), you can sit down, relax, snack and enjoy a new batch of unlicensed animes to watch. In case none of these summer animes don’t interest you, you can take a look at some of the other animes that have debuted within the past month.

Moving along, Baka-Wolf/M.3.3.W. has a quite few that needs to get on par with the action.  Special A 14 released, an update on Telpathy Girl Ran and Itazura Na Kiss 14 due out for tomorrow.

Here is Special A 14. I really enjoyed this one and you’ll see why when you watch. Again, there’s no karaoke this week, since the OP/ED singles come out in 3 days. Episode 15 will definitely have karaoke included.

Itazura 14 should be out either tomorrow or Monday hopefully.

And I guess there’s no point in keeping it a secret, but we have picked up Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu. After seeing the garbage that Moetaku put out, we can’t just sit idly by.

Telepathy Girl Ran Update: The official subs of episodes 01 and 02 are out. No more needs for scripts. Links will be added to the post below. But the real update comes to this:

Hey,

Today, there was a mutual cancellation of our joint with Osu! Subs on Telepathy Shoujo Ran. They have admitted they had little desire to do the show, and we saw they had a bulky work load this season and rather than let things go on too long, we both decided it’d be best for both sides to part ways.

BakaWolf-m.3.3.w will continue to sub Telepathy Shoujo Ran and we wish Osu! subs the best of luck on their future projects, and one day hope we can attempt another joint project together. Was fun talking to them on IRC in the staff channel.

With that wrapping up the set of Baka-Wolf news, we have something new. Rumor and word is that a new fansub group is in development and is currently recruiting members.  Who’s leading it? When did it happen? I don’t know. What I do know is that this is certainly an interesting development for anime. Stay tuned for more updates.
